This is an instructional file on how to install Todd A. Anderson's BattleTech
Mech Editor.

Installation Requirements
   Windows 3.1

Installation Instructions
1)  Create a directory on your hard drive where the Mech Editor program will
    reside.  For example,

        MD \MECHEDIT

2)  Change to the directory you just created.  For example,

        CD \MECHEDIT

3)  Extract the Mech Editor ZIP archive file into the current directory.
    For example,

        PKUNZIP A:\BTECH21.ZIP

4)  You may now run the BattleTech Mech Editor by choosing File Run from the
    Windows Program Manager menu bar and specifying the program name.  For
    example,

        C:\MECHEDIT\BTECH.EXE

    Or, you may create an icon to run the program.  Consult your Windows
    manual for this process.

5)  Once the program has started, you may access on-line help by clicking on
    the help item on the menu bar and clicking on the word Contents.


If you register this product, it will get better.  If no one registers, nothing
will improve.  Most of all, I want your suggestions on how to make the program
better.  Feel free to write me at the address in the registration file.
