                          Eagle's Talon Golf Course

Designers: Peter Oelschlaeger and Steve Holden
Type: Fictional
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

I know how boring a long text file can be, so I'll try to keep this
one short. I started Eagle's Talon a LONG time ago (maybe September 1992).
I thought I would finish it as quickly as my first design (which I hope is
gone now), but that wouldn't be the case. After the first nine holes, I
became bored and months passed.

Enter Steve Holden. On my BBS, Ace BBS, I sometimes have a feature
called "Designer of the Month." In June, I selected Steve Holden because of
his outstanding work done on Positano Bay and the courses prior to that. I
absolutely love his work, especially Positano and his newest one, Jellico
Junction. He is also the most productive designer I know of.

So, Steve and I became good friends and then my idea struck. Why
not ask Steve to help out on ET? He agreed sometime back in late September
I think. I filled him in on the details of the course, etc., and his work
began.

I was so sad to see my original background go, but, with the new
background that Steve did I'm GLAD it's gone. All of the background is his
except for the light tan dual chimney formation. He did the remaining 9
holes too, not to mention helping me out on the adjacents and cleaning up
the plot. I did the logo <g>.

Here it is finished, I hope you enjoy many fine rounds on it. After
over a year of construction, I'm thrilled that we ever got it finished.
YIPPEE!

Gene Rodriguez III, your work has always been an inspiration to me.
It was an absolute pleasure to landscape with your objects.

Congratulations Petey, on your first release. It means a lot to me
