	NASA will demonstrate the capabilities of its Telemedicine
Demonstration program "Spacebridge to Moscow" to members of Congress and others
on Friday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.  EST in the Hart Office Building, Hearing Room
216.

	The demonstration will link Capitol Hill and two remote sites by
satellite with clinical consultants in Russia and West Virginia. The Russian
clinicians will present, for consultation, a case of a patient with a tumor,
demonstrating the use of teleradiology and telepathology technology.  The West
Virginia clinicians will present a pediatric cardiology case for medical
consultation, demonstrating the capabilities for rural telemedicine
applications.

	The demonstration will be co-sponsored by NASA, Senators John D.
Rockefeller and Barbara A. Mikulski and Congressmen Ralph M. Hall, George E.
Brown, Jr. and Louis Stokes.
