One of the most popular places to be is a video arcade. You would be
surprised at finding adults here. Nevertheless they are there. Many,
I among them, are trying to relive our youth. Then again, when we
were youngsters, the games were not as advanced as today's entries.
Nor, were they computerized. Heck, they did not even have computers
in homes. One game though that has survived is pinball. It has come
through virtually unscathed, and has lasted were others have failed.
There are fad games that are around for several years, and then drop
by the wayside. Not so with pinball. While it has become more
complex than in the days I played, it still has the same basic
concept. You must hit the ball using the flippers.

Dynamic, part of the Sierra Family, has released the second in their
Take-A-Break! series. The first entry was, Crosswords for Windows
(another pastime that has been around for eons), and now Pinball for
    Windows.

Pinball requires at least 6MB of hard disk space, and a sound card
is required for the sounds and speech that are part of the program.

There are eight full-featured Pinball games that are all based on
themes from some of Sierras' hit games: The Adventures of Willy
Beamish, King's Quest V, Space Quest IV, Nova 9, and Leisure Suit
    Larry.

Each game has different graphic layouts and playing fields, each
challenging your skills in new ways. The various games all have
their own traits, and features not found in the arcade version. For
example there is animated action, multilevel play, and even a
pterodactyl that flies in and steals your ball. Up to four people
can play. Just insert your quarters, get your shift keys ready (or
mouse buttons), and you are all set to play.

I found the graphics very well done, and the animation and sound a
nice touch. This is an easy and quick game to play. I recommend it
to anyone who is a pinball fanatic. It will not disappoint you.
However, some game boards might be offensive to some, and may not be
    suitable for minors.
