Theme rotation is INACTIVE! This field will have no affect until the
next release of Flipcat. I have decided to get the new version out
and not to wait for the Theme Rotation. When Theme rotation becomes
available, it will only be available to Registered users. It will be
a 'Free' upgrade to all users who register before it becomes available.
    (Single Line and Multi-Line)

This is it, the 'Official' shareware release of FLIPCAT! v3.0.
This has proven to be a very stable release. Screen locking, and log
file locking has been corrected. The node id enviroment variable for
Multi-Line Wildcat! BBS's was made a Secondary ID format for those
sysops who did not want to set up another enviroment variable to
track nodes. The primary ID still is FLIPNODE, use in the format of:

        SET FLIPNODE=#

(Where the '#' is the node number you wish to assign it.)

This is set in the AUTOEXEC.BAT or the batch file that calls your BBS,
event, or Flipcat!. If no ID is found, and Flipcat is registered as
Multi-Line, then Flipcat will assign a number between 1 and 5 at random
when Flipcat runs. Note: This will create 5 different FLIPLOG.###'s in
    you flipcat directory.

Help documentation is now complete. For help, press <F1> in flipdata.

A new Registration Key system was implemented. Mainly to cut down of
some of the program size. Registered users of Flipcat! 1 or 2 will
recieve a FREE single line key. If you are a registered user, you will
have to contact Triad Solutions, Inc, and leave a message to Chris
Grossmeier or Ron Woods. Multi-Line Mode keys will only be available
to those who wish to register for the next level.

Comments or Questions can be directed to me through the Internet to

    chris.grossmeier@triad.bbs.net
(chris.grossmeier@triad.com in near future. use this if message is
not recieved at this end. Expected Spring of '94)

This is the FIRST general population BETA release. It is nearly
fully functional. The only option that is not active is Multi-Line
Registered mode. This is only available directly from Triad
Solutions, Inc to registered users of Flipcat I or Flipcat II

Sorry, but Theme rotation is still inactive. Turns out to be a
major undertaking. If I don't get it activated, it may be scrapped
from the program. The idea was to allow a wildcard to be used as a
destination filename. Still stuck on the logic side of it. It
sounded good, but still needs some work.

Multi-Line Support now works by node numbers. Multi-Line will log
to different logs by a assined node number. Currently, Flipcat will
attempt to read a WCNODEID from the environment. This is great if
you use Wildcat!, but, if you do not, don't despare. Flipcat will
search for a secondary environment variable called FLIPNODE. Still,
if that is not found, a random number from 1 to 10 will be used.
In worse case, you end up with 10 log files in your flipcat directory.
If the NODE ID is set propperly, you will have an accurate log of
all the screens rotated by Flipcat. Note: The purge option still
works also. It will only purge the current activity log, FLIPLOG.###.

Added @-CODE Preview with data and color to FLIPDATA pick screen
option. Now it will display all screens that end in .BBS as an
@-Code screen. All other extension will be treated as ansi or text.
RIP screens, well, I don't plan on writing a RIP viewer also. <grin>

Actually took the time to try to write documentation. It is brief,
but then again, the program isn't that complex that it needs a full
manual. It details all the fields of FlipData, Flipcat, PackFlip, and
    FLIPCAT.CFG

Added to FLIPCAT.HLP. There is nothing worse for a programmer than
to write HELP files. I always feel like I am missing the obvious.
Any suggestion here would be greatly appreciated.

Fixed problem with TEMPFILE when multiple copies of FLIPCAT were
running at the same time. Each session will now get a unique
filename for its List of files to copy. ( MULTI-LINE MODES ONLY )
This file is generated at time of execution, and removed when
complete. If Flipcat is aborted for some reason, you will see a
0-byte file with no extension in the Flipcat directory.

Active and De-active sets are active. Now, a set can be turned off
from Flipdata, and its data kept intact. Simply toggle the active
set field and update the record.

Added some Triad Solutions Propaganda. Simply displays copyright
and Freezing Point Systems BBS phone number. I admit, it's a
plug, but hey! anything for a registration. <grin>.

Last, Tuned up PACKFLIP for a faster rebuild. I know, you never
thought that it could go faster, but I did it. Instead of packing
10 records in 4 seconds, it now does it in 3. Not much, but for 100
or a 1000 records it will save up to 30 seconds. 25% faster!

	FC3REVC.ZIP

Fixed program to inform user that SHARE is required. Share is
required because Flipcat is fairly DATABASE intensive. It also
aids in determining a FILE Lock status.

Currently, we are working on a new ANSI BACKGROUND, any suggestions
 	or ideas would be appreciated.

Theme rotation is semi-done. The code is basically in place, but
still not active. Look for it in the next revision.

	Thanks
	Chris Grossmeier
