UPGRADE.TXT WC-Charge version 1.03 to version 1.04. (c) GlassWare Software

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This upgrade utility will upgrade the old type ASCII text SYSTEM.CFG file to
the new type record SYSTEM.CFG file. It will also upgrade your SUBPLANS.DAT.

IT WILL NOT upgrade ver. 1.04 'PRE-RELEASE' to the current released version
of WC-Charge 1.04.

If you are running V 1.04 'PRE-RELEASE' You will need to delete your current
'SYSTEM.CFG' BE SURE TO WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING including your registration
number, before you delete system.cfg. Then you need to re-enter all the the
information you had in your system.cfg. You will not need to change your
subplans.dat files.

If you are unsure, give me a calll and ALWAYS make a backup FIRST!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT:

Copy ONLY THE EXE files into your WCCHARGE directory. DO NOT overwrite your
data files with our EXAMPLES. But then you did make a backup didn't you?

Read WHATSNEW.104 to find out about all the new features that require
such a radical upgrade. This upgrade is FREE to all registered WC-Charge
users.

Instructions on how to do the upgrade are simple. You need to be running
version 1.03 of WC-Charge for the wcupgrad.exe to work. FIRST and MOST
IMPORTANT is to make a backup. I upgraded my files several times and the
upgrad.exe worked fine. HOWEVER i must warn you that BACKUPS will prevent
un-needed work in case of hardware failure or software error!

After your backups are done, just make sure all of the new EXE's are in you
WCCHARGE directory and type WCUPGRAD and stand back!

Run CHGSETUP and verify that everything is alright. Then go to each field
in SYSTEM.CFG and make certain that they contain complete and correct info-
rmation. Check your ITEMS for sale and you should be all set.

Remember that we changed the exe file from WC-CHG10.EXE to WCCHARGE.EXE.

If you absolutely do not want to change your batch file(s) then just copy
WCCHARGE.EXE over WC-CHG10.EXE. You will not have to make any changes then,
however all future versions of WC-Charge will be named WCCHARGE.EXE so you
should never have to do it again.
