If you pass this program on to any one, (Please do!)
You must include ALL the above files! (the original
ZIP file would be nice)

If you are an end user, however, all you need on your hard disk
(or floppy), is HOMEPLN.EXE. & any .PLN files that you create.
(sample ".PLN " files are included to start on)

If you want to use a Deskjet 500 series or IBM Proprinter printer,
DJ500B.BGI or X24.BGI must be with the program (All other printer
drivers are built into the program).

If you don't copy Home27.Doc to your program directory, then
you should print that file. i.e.: copy HOME27.DOC PRN

Use the "Print Registration Information" option at the Opening
Menu. For $20.00 + $4.00 s&h, you will receive a nice printed
Manual. (along with tech support & removal of that
nice opening screen) & some other goodies.

===== Installation =====================================

Installing HOME PLAN:
The HOME PLAN files must be uncompressed, and copied to your
working disk. The working disk can be another floppy disk, or a
       directory on your hard drive.

HOME PLAN sends its programs to vendors in two compressed formats:
1.	Self-extracting files have a .EXE extension, and can be
extracted by typing the file name at the Dos prompt.
2.	Files compressed with PKZIP v2.04 have a .ZIP extension, and
require a program like PKUNZIP to extract them.
NOTE: Vendors may extract these files and re-compress them with
another method. HOME PLAN can't control that.
See The general instructions below to deal with these situations.

In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text
means that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
       perform this task.
If not, you should be able to obtain, directions for this from
the same source from which you received the package.

If You downloaded HOMEPLAN from a BBS (or received it in the form of
archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
following steps.

o The program is probably compressed, and has an extension such
	as .ZIP.
Copy the compressed file to a separate directory on your hard
	drive.
Use an appropriate program, such as PKUNZIP to un-compress the
	files.
After successfully decompressing the files, you can delete the
compressed copy on your hard drive to save disk space.

If you received HOME PLAN from a catalog vendor, the vendor might have a
install program on their disk. If so, follow the instructions for that
program.

o If the compressed file has an .EXE extension, then it's a
self-extracting file. Use the same instructions as above, but
just type the name of the file to extract it. A separate
un-compression program such as PKUNZIP isn't necessary.

YOU'RE READY TO GO

Once the files are copied to your working drive, you should consult
the document HOME27.DOC.
That document will tell you how to invoke the program, and will give you
other information you need to properly evaluate HOME PLAN.

We hope you enjoy the program.

Thanks for your interest in HOME PLAN
